Well, you asked.. that's more or less everything at this very moment.
I could not even begin to list the stuff on my desk or the shelves behind it. I just did a quick count and I came up with 36 large items consisting of computers, radios, and test equipment. The small stuff would be in the hundreds count.
Hey, I got an idea! We could have a messy desk contest once a month.
Today I have 6 monitors in 360 degree area.- all fired up. (Frame relay is down in Boston -- not good but a Verizon issue not mine till the network is stable) Three or four keyboards , two coffee mugs, a few old pci cards, pile of backup cds and tapes. Loads of paper-- that I was suppose to respond to. Woodenboat magazine and the quarterly woodmizer. Under the piles is an old barometer, snippets of code I needed to look at from back around thanksgiving...Lot of of stuff --time to clean up. High speed scanner--why its there I don't know --hooked it up a few months ago played around with it and have not moved it.
Home desktop has an old heathkit oscilloscope on it, desktop cnc, desktop lathe a couple of monitors and a bunch of stuff...I like 360 degree work areas that you can spin or roll in. Under the desks is where the real mess is. Productivity is down to a crawl...
I just cleaned off my pit of a desk. I took my computer to a friends house, and decided that as long as it was off, I should shovel off the desk. I also had to make room for a scanner.
Funny you should ask. Right now it looks like a bomb went off on it. I'm trying to hook up a 5 in 1 printer I just bought and can't get it done. A call to the maker for help gets me the message " Due to the volumn of calls, we can not take your call now". I find that very reassuring. If I don't get through by tomorrow that sucker goes back to the store.

That's easy: a $22 hollow-core door from Home Depot on two sawhorses. I learned these are the best desks in college and I still use them 15 years later.
