body lift
i just bought 31"/10.50" bf goodrich all terrain tires, i want to buy the lift kit and i know that it is relatively cheap.. the question is, how much did some of you pay to install a 3" body lift ? because some of these places i call are askin so much money for the instillation... does 600 sound like a good price? its the lowest ive found so far.. thnx

600 doesn't sound too bad. I was quoted 700 earlier this month. Installs on Fords are much more expensive than on other makes because the bolts connecting body to frame are installed from the top side of the rails. Install involves removing a lot (interior, etc) to even get to them. Also, you have to be very careful with the bed hitting the cab during install and scratching it. Make sure the installers put plenty of towels between the 2 or have some other way to prevent their hitting.
