360 cam

just had a ? how much of a lift can i put in my 360 with C7AE-A heads with out changing to adjustable rockers.

crane 901 cam or 941, prolly the biggest i would go is .533 on the lift thats with the crane 941 cam.

Adjustable rockers aren't really the limitation. If you go too big the stock shafts will snap and the stands are likely to do the same. You'd be hard pressed to break a stock rocker. I broke 2 shafts with my Crane 801 cam that has .580 lift on the exhaust. I would say a .533 is about as big as you can go without having to worry at all. RPMs will snap them to so you have to figure that in. I bought hardened thick walled shafts and stands made from aircraft quality aluminum and I have no problems. The Erson roller rocker assemblys for $600 complete seem to be the hot ticket right now.

Thanks for the help looked around think I'm gonna go with the crane 901. Maybe it'll liven it up a bit more.
