Seems like a lot of usable space under the back seat. Has anyone built or bought a locker to fit said space? (Details please) I'm looking for something to stash a pistol in and it be secure while I am away from the truck for, say an afternoon. No overnight, valet, etc.
Has anyone else addressed this question?
Any other suggestions? Behind rear seat? Lockable (metal) center console?
If you need info on the SuperCrew then post this Q in the F150 forum.
If you are referring to the Super Duty Crew Cab then I just wait for an answer. But let me know so that I can change the title of the post.
About your question...visit a gun store and browse through a couple of his Distributor catalogs. I used to sell lock boxes that could be hard mounted just about anywhere. Also make sure you check your local laws as it pertains to leaving firearms in your vehicle. It is illegal here in MA.
I have the amps 3 of them, crossovers and distrobution blocks for my stereo all mounted under the back seat of my crew cab. There isn't any room left under there!
That lock box looks pretty cool, is it hard to install? Will it fit under the bench seat or only the bucket seat? I sent an email asking for the SKU# or price, just waiting for a reply.
Ken let me know that the lock box is not available since the company that makes them is out of business. Anyone find other sources out there? I'm still digging but haven't found anything.
