Trailer Tow Package Question
Regarding an 02 f30, it is my understanding that as standard equipment a tow package is included. Is this standard tow package the same as if you ordered the #531 Tow package. The reason I ask is on my truck i have everything in the #531 package except the rear stabilizer bar. I also have the #674 heavy service suspension package which includes a front stabilizer bar. it seems the standard package maybe does not include either front or rear stabilizer bars or maybe just the front one. can any owners clarify this?

I don't have the info with me,but is the #531 pkg.you are referring to the Camper Pkg?If so it is designed with an in the bed camper in mind.You get the rear sway bar,200lb.heavier rated front springs(up to max.springs)and the front steering stabilizer(that shock looking thing).

Trailer Tow Package Question
I believe when the Super Duties first came out the trailer tow package was an option, which included 7-wire harness; front stabilizer bar (4x2); trailer brake wiring/feed kit; heavy-duty 130-amp alternator (gas engines); heavy duty 78AH (750CCA) battery (gas engines). This is from the first Super Duty Brochure. I believe all those are now standard features, or they were on mine. I don't believe the rear stabilizer has ever been part of the tow package on the super duties, but it may have been on the pre '99 heavy duties. I don't know about that though because I do not have info on them. As far as I know you have to have the camper package to get a rear stabilizer bar, or get a dually.

Heavy service adds springs(front) and a steering dampener(stabilizer).
Camper package adds springs(front) and rear stabilizer plus a weight certification.
Off road package will give you a front stabilizer and skid plates.
Tow package was optional on gassers for 99 as far as I know.
Diesel's had the tow package included. Now the tow package is standard regardless of engine.
Rear sway was included on camper option only. Exception is dually which I believe has a rear sway included.
99.5 Ford Super Duty F-250 XLT 4x4. S/C L.W.B. PSD Auto loaded.
4 in. Pro-Comp lift. 35 x 12.5 x 16.5 BFG AT/KO. Weld SSII 16.5 x 9.75. Rancho 9000's Dual Front.
Warn M12000 in Semi-hidden mount. Astro-start Supreme 3001.
