tilt wheel?

tilt wheel?
I found a tilt steering wheel and cruise out of either a 75f150 3on the tree, and a 76 the same, how will this bolt up into my 78, 3 on the tree also,will i have any difficulties?

Tilt wheel was only available in 78/79 with automatic trans. 73-77 columns are different for 2wd and 4wd. 78/79 columns are the same 2wd and 4wd. The horn wire is in a different location in connector on 77-earlier and 78/79.

Wow, That's a great find if it is real.
Ford never put tilt in any truck until 78.
I have never seen a tilt in anything other than an automatic.
Is there a ignition switch on the shift collar ?
I would sure like to see pics of this column ?

I haven't seen it for myself, i ran across it in the classifieds and called the guy and he told me he really didnt no to much about other than it was tilt and cruise and when he bought his property month ago this was parked on it, He was guessing the approximate year. So this will bolt up, no problems. Sorry,i got a 3sp automatic.

I have a tilt/cruise in my truck, cab is a 78 Lariat but I don't know where came from originally. Its a 4 speed 4x4 though and I can't see any signs it was once an automatic. Maybe I got a rare bird.
