Alaska G.O.B.L.IN.
Actually all of the above. Seems as if the majority of you guys have made all sorts of mods to the PSD in an effort to boost the power. I'm happy with the power mine has now, just want to ensure I don't burn up a tranny or other goodies. By the way I spent 3 great years in Fairbanks (Eielson AFB) in the early 70s.
You should already have a voltmeter and oil pressure guage standard on most cars I've seen also.
In both of my diesels I'm running Auto Meter's. Banks makes good guages too. Never tried any others. Since both of them are also stick I have no need for a tranny temp. I am considering an engine oil temp for the PSD. The Cummins is running boost pyro and an aux fuel level guage for when I get my bed tank installed.
BaldEagle, call me 13. Its also great to see someone enjoys Fairbanks as I do. Most military people hate Fairbanks.
13,
Thanks for the info. Most of the military must be nuts as Alaska was one of my best assignments. Valdez, Chicken, Eagle, Mt. McKinley, Wonder Lake, Circle Hot Springs, and Ft. Yukon. We visited them all, several many times. Loved ziping down the highway beside the Eielson flightline about 65 mph + on my snowmobile.
