Transfer case removal
I"m replacing my internaI slave cylinder ,clutch etc and for me to get to the parts I first need to first pull off my transfer case then the transmission. This is a huge transfer case and tranny.
I followed all the steps in the Haynes manual and everything is going smooth until it was time to slide back the transfer case. This thing wont' budge..
I have two safety straps supporting the case along with a stand ready to place this monster down
but the case will not slide back. Any suggestion on how I can get this case loose so I can slide back far enough to remove and set down
Really do appreciate someone's experience so I can get this done.
thanks

Loosed the straps a bit. A bit of a pry and she slide right out.. that worked
Another question:
I'm at the tranny,, need to get that darn
hydralic line out!!Don't have the special tool they say to use from the Haynes manual to pull out the hydraulic line from the tranny going to the slave cylinder. Is there another way to do this without the special tool????? How can I do this???
thanks..
