Cam change question

I just put a 351 cam in my 93 302. I know I have to change the firing order, but do I have to switch fuel injector wires also? I don't have it in my truck yet, but I just did a full rebuild and don't want to screw it up with a misfire. Thanks.

You can change the wires at the injectors or swap around the pins in the main computer connector.

On a side note, I have heard some say that switching this around can cause problems. They say that the computer thinks it is firing on one side of the motor when it is really firing on the other. Supposedly, the computer picks up the discrepency through the O2 sensors and starts adding/pulling out fuel from the wrong banks.

I don't know if that is true or not. I have not done this personally. I can tell you that a very well known Mustang and Ford performance shop does this frequently and says it does not cause any problems.
