Dist. cap upgrade
Ok someone may have the info on this or done this or know about it. Can the flat top lager dist. tower cap be upgraded on the FE stock dist, like is used on the later small blocks? I think Summit had one at one time but that was a complete change over dist. I've removed the points and now using an aftermarket pointless setup. I Want to change to the w/HEI 8.5 mm snap on Spark plug wires that are used on the later model engines. thanks for any in-put

I upgraded all the FE's I have owned just follow the instructions given in this link

Thanks Sparky thats what, I thought it would take to do the upgrade.. I'm thinking that the 302 plug wires maybe alittle short fit on some plugs on the FE block. 351 MAYBE good But 429-460 CID. I would go with for sure, better to long than to short once an old girl friend once told me...lol. And hummm custom coil wire... thanks again
