There is a part on the inside of the frame of my truck and I have no clue what it's for. If I had dual tanks I would say thats what it would be for but I only have a single tank. The part is a round black thing with the fuelk lines coming and going.
This part is going to be in the way of the cross member when I do a C6 to ZF swap. The cross member needs to be moved towards the rear of the truck almost 3 inches.
It is either the fuel filter or the high-pressure pump. If it has wires going into it, it is the pump. If it has a flow direction arrow, and or no wires, it's the pump.
It's neither of the two. I have changed the fule pump and the filter is closer to the motor. The part I am refering to is closer to the fuel tank between the fuel pump and the fuel tank.
The part is a black if that helps.
This a centurion bronco which I am told was based on the F150 frame and drive train.
I've heard there's a filter in it that can get plugged. The mechanic said he just took those out if they ever got clogged. Be sure to have a new o-ring in hand when you take the thing apart, because you will need one when you put it back together.
