turn signal not working

My windshield wipers stopped working, the wire to the wipers at that plug somebody crimp conected right at the plug,i moved the wire and the wipers worked and signal worked on and off.So i checked the plug,it was corroded,i cleaned it and the signal/brake light worked. This is the big square plug below the master cylinder, the wires on one end runs up to the block of 2 relays on inner fender, one of which felt like it was for the turn signal.

Turn signal doesn't work? This relay controls the flashers and turn signals.
I Know that the latest post is 2010, but this helped immensely. There are 2 relays tucked up under the dash approximately above the drivers right knee. I replaced that with a generic relay from the parts store. Thanks!

My turn signals quit working a while back. Turned out to be the connector plug at the switch. The wires inside were no longer held firmly in place so only sporadically making contact. I simply put a drop of super glue on the metal pin where it was supposed to fasten to the plastic. So far everything is working fine.

Is your '04 a 7.3? I looked up an '03, My '04 wiring Diagrams only list 6.0. Not sure if it makes a difference...

Front and rear signals out? Brake lights work?
Fuse 27 under dash is front lights and Cluster, Fuse 18 is brake and rear lights, if I'm reading it correctly.

Maybe he's from Australia or some other country that had the 7.3s well past 2003?

I have a 99 f250 super duty. My signals wouldn't work, but hazards and everything else would. I had good continuity from switch to relay and from relay to fuse panel. Had power at 10a fuse 23 under dash. (Far right-second one down) It will only have power when in run. White wire with light blue stripe from fuse panel to relay for signals. Light blue wire(#44) from relay to signal switch. Found that the fuse read good power, but when I'd let off it would lose connection. The fuse socket was loose inside. I could move the fuse and signals would work. I broke a prong off a bad fuse and jammed the fuse up against the loose one and tightened it up. It'll do for now. Pain in the butt to find though. I hope this helps. Not sure if the wiring and fuse details are the same on your truck.
