Post Ignitions key lock cylinder

AutoZone parts? I just went through 2 defective ignition key lock switches from AutoZone. Normally I've had pretty good luck with their parts, but not with these switches. The first one would not even fit into the cylinder and the second one fit, but it wouldn't turn to the start or off position. I went to Advance, got a good one the first time, for the same price. Got to watch out for some of those "Hencho in Mexico parts".

Not meaning to rub your nose in anything, but that is why I buy most of my parts from FORD. I learned years ago about aftermarket parts and I just don't have the money to repeat those mistakes now.

It certainly was an eye opener. After I returned the second switch I think AutoZone realized they had a bunch of defective parts. But it makes you wonder about all the other auto parts that they sell.
