yo i was thinkin about buying a mustang gt probally a newer one like with a 5.0 in it. but d am those lightings haul aszzz what would probally be a better choice as in being the faster car probally the stang?
Depends if you have money. The new L runs 13.5 stock and the ne GT runs 14.2 stock, but that is the 4.6 the 5.0 stangs in 94/95 only ran something like 14.8 either way there is nothing like smokeing a car with a truck.
the mustang is definetly a fast car depending on the year and the model of the mustang such as he cobra and gt. You definetly cant go wrong with a new lightning though. those are some pretty fast trucks.
When comparing the Lightning to the Mustang, it gets difficult.
Other than the '03 and up Cobra, the stock Lightning is going to be quicker than the stock Mustang in the quarter mile. When it comes to handling, the Mustang should take the Lightning.
When I decided I needed to get a fun vehicle, I was torn. I have been a Mustang lover as long as I can remember. My first car at age 16 was a 1972 Mustang convertible. I have also owned a 1989 LX 5.0. I would have definitely loved a new Cobra, but I needed something a little more practical since it would be my only vehicle.
I have a hobby that requires me to haul a fair amount of equipment each weekend. Getting that in a Mustang would be impossible, and my wife can't drive a stick shift, so swapping cars for the weekend was not an option. The Lightning gives me the fun vehicle that I want along with it being the practical truck I need.
As long as the vehicle fits your needs, you will be happy with whichever you choose.
I am definetly gonna have to go with gotpez. I myself am also a huge fan of the mustang since forever i guess. The main thing in choosing a vehicle besides cost is what your needs are.
