Question Wiper blades?

Have any of you tried the Bosch Micro Edge Excel wiper blades? and are they really that much better than others such as Anco and others.

I hear good things about them just wondered if thier worth the extra $$$$

Thanks all

I don't think they are any better than anything else. The PIAA silicone blades are the way to go! They are pricey [$20 per blade], but they are GREAT and last a full year!

I had a pair of the Micro Edge, then switched to the Anco and can't notice any real difference.

I use the Rain X blades they sell at Wal-Mart. About $8 a piece and I've run a set 3 yrs. so far with no problems.

Regular run of the mill blades with Rain-X treatment to the windsheild is the best I have for seeing in the rain. With Rain-X on the glass, I dont even have to use my wipers while driving. Also makes Ice and snow simple and easy to remove in the winter.

Cant tell much difference myself. Ive used NAPA Bosch and Anco. I plow snow so we use the NAPA winter blades, then I switch them back to what ever strikes me. I really like rain-x treatment because bugs, snow& ice are easier to remove. I just started using Castrol treatment because it looked easy to apply (it is but Im not sure it works or lasts as good yet)

I like the Bosch Micro Edge. I have them on both of our vehicles and at Advance Auto Parts they were only a buck or two more then the ANCO. The facts are you still need to replace blades every 6 months or so and check them every time you do a viual check of other safety stuff which should be once a week

You might want to try the Teflon blades that NAPA has. I put them on my last 2 trucks and they a world of difference
