We're gonna need to know a little more info to tell you what your Bronco might weigh. You have to tell what size engine you have, what tranny it is, whether or not it has stuff like power windows and a/c. To give you an idea of what your 88 might weight, I'll tell you how much mine weigh. My 92 XLT 351w has an E40D tranny, power windows, power locks, and a/c. It weighs 4530lbs. My 79 Custom 351m has a C6 tranny, and no accessories. It weighs 5180lbs. Chances are your 88 is around the weight of my 92.
Yea, I'd agree with 1big79. I work with cranes and do a little heavy hauling, and with a 302 or 351 your probably going to be anywhere from 4200 to 4800 give or take a few.
Anyone up for a challenge? I'll describe the basic parameters of my '83 Bronco, who ever has the closest guess of what it weighs, I'll send them a FTE T-shirt. I just weighed it about the first of this month on a certified grain scale that weighs in even 20 pound increments only, that'll be the weight I use. Guesses end on 12/25/2003 at midnight, ties go to the first post.
