Help,
I have a 2000 F-150 that the drivers side headlight is aimed very low all of the sudden. How do I go about getting it back to where it should be? I found the retainer clips but can't seem to figure out how to adjust the aim of the lights. Can any one give me some pointers. I just need it to be closer to the passenger side aim point, not perfect. Thanks if any one can give me a hand.
There should be set screws that you either tighten or loosen...one on the side and one either on the top or bottom. Adjust the screws to aim the headlight. It's best done when the truck is pointed at and fairly close to a wall.
Are these set screws near the retainer clips? I have been looking and can't seem to find anything. I will give it a closer look and see what I can find. Thanks for the info.
The 2 screws that you need to adjust have 4mm heads and are quite hard to get at. They are just a stud sorta thing with a 4mm hex head on the end. One should be aiming up and the other one aims to the engine compartment.
I cant find a picture of it
