electrical nightmares

How Do
I have a 78 f-250 and recently I have had a lot of problems with the electrical parts. I can't even get the thing started now. I replaced the starter, soleniod, and ignition switch. Nothing seems to get power to the starter. I can cross the solenoid and it will start, but thats the only time. I know there are fusible links in the system but I don't know where they are. I found one near the solenoid and replaced it. Anyone have any ideas?

before you do anything mre your connections are clean and tight right?

Get a repair manual with an electrical schematic. The OEM Ford manuals on CD available from the online store here have them.

I have power everywhere including a couple of wires that go to the ignition. I used a test light to test the wires in the dash and I found power to most of them.

I had no power coming from my key switch to my silonoid on my 74'.My buddy just wired push button starter switch to the silonoid

i had a similar problem with my 75 f100 when i bought it. the problem was that the neutral safety switch was not in the proper position to start the truck.
