The Castrol Super clean is my favoriate product ever. It degreases, removes brake dust, splatten bugs are no problem. Just one word of caution, ok 2 words of caution.

1. wear gloves - it will remove the oils from your skin and make them feel like the sahara.

2. use caution near painted surfaces. It will remove paint(scrubbing is required) on non clear coated surfaces.

other than that. Have at it and be amazed at the results

Good Luck

Isn't Gunk engine degreaser basically diesel fuel? At least that's what it smells like to me. Why not use an old spray bottle filled with diesel fuel, kerosene or mineral spirits to soak the grease and then pressure was it off. May not be the most enviromentally friendly thing to do though.

Just keep the "super" cleaners off the paint...they will do some damage to it if not immediately washed off.
