I won't be posting anything other than in this section if someone does decide to try and help.
I guess I just thought people could of been a little more mature about it......Guess I was wrong.
Thanks
O-boy we are in trouble now...........a little more mature..........bummer........busted again
and right before xmas, there goes the good day I had yesterday, and I was really going for two nice ones in a row, hoping for a really big gift form the big red guy........wonder if that is PC to call him that.
The sensor that is unplugged is for reading the outside ambient air temp, which send's a signal to the PCM and makes necessary adjustment on how the truck runs. If you plug it in and get a check engine light the sensor is bad and that is why it is unplugged.

Ditto what Alaska_PSD said, adding that at temps <45F it activates the EBP. I keep mine unplugged because I don't like the EBP engaging and sapping fuel economy. That and it doesn't get that cold here.
Told you this was a tough thread!
Torque1st,alanscott,mschultz,emtabmm,silverrv, Tim Lamkin,
Happy Holidays guys.
Cummingsdude, if you like your truck I guess that's what counts. Not to late to ask Santa for a new Powerstroke 4X4!
Sorry Torque1st, I couldn't help it.
