In a post that is sadly typical, you have insulted our friends to the north. Let me pass on a few facts I read just today:
We share the largest undefended border in the world; On 9-11, Canada opened its airspace to hundreds of flights bound for the U.S. and Canadian families sheltered thousands of stranded passengers: Canada (with a population smaller than the state of California) sent thousands of troops to Afghanistan and has already donated over $225 million to the Iraq rebuilding effort; Canada entered WW1 in 1914 ( we entered in 1917); Canada defended freedom against Hitler in 1939 (We joined in 1941).
Canada has proven itself a good neighbor and ally countless times, but they are not vassals of the U.S. deserving of scorn for making independent decisions. Let us treat our proven friends with the respect they deserve, we don't have that many left.

A couple things.....insulting the government and the country of alot of our friends on here is a good way to get a lot of people mad at you. Its also a good way to keep my attention as the rude remarks toward others aren't looked kindly upon....
saying that, if i had to move anywhere outside the us...canada would be my second choice right after the bahamas.....ok...maybe it would come before the bahamas...

I appreciate your position in all of this... but what I wrote hardly constitutes "insult," particularly given the remarks I, and others. reply to from our friends to the north.
Many Non-Americans here seem FAR more concerned about the United States then they are their OWN country. Perhaps, if they spent as much time trying to stop their own train wreck instead of focusing so much time and energy busting our chops here, Canada would be a far better place to live.
I wrote the truth. An unpleasant truth, to be sure, but the truth, nevertheless. And if the truth constitutes "insult" here, let me know, and I'll leave you folks to talk about whatever else besides the truth you would care to discuss.

Instead of the direct confrontation, it's quite possible to present your point of view in a polite manner.
For example, you could have done a quick search and produced something like this:
Notice that this was written by a Canadian, as well as being printed in a Canadian news paper. Instead of people jumping down your throat, let them pounce on a Canadian for presenting that opinion.

When you go about criticizing another country, the "In Your Face" style of debate will always come back to bite you in the butt.
