Hey guys, I have a '78 F-150 with A/C (non working) but I'm slowly trying to fix her up and I thnk my heater core's clogged so I want to replace it, but there's a couple different variables that I don't know, and the parts places ask for.
1. How do I know if I have factory vs. dealer installed air?
2. How do I know if I have standard vs. high output core?
I have the big black box in the engine compartment. The A/C lines go in the side of the box parallel to the firewall, and the heater hoses attach to the front of the box.
If you have the big black box under the hood then you have Factory A/C and as far as I know it only takes one core. The non a/c had a high output or a regular output.
