d2te heads

what year are the d2te heads? i assummed they were 1972 heads but was told i had 68 heads and i have the d2te heads.

If the casting number is D2TE the earliest the heads could be is late '71. They could be replacements for '68 heads but they were not made until late'71 or later. The rest of the casting number would narrow it down.

D2's were also used up to the end of FE production in 1976. they are identical to the C8AE-H heads, with the exception of hardened seats.

About 67ccs is the common finding.
