This thread is probably not intended for females.
But in any case. I had my hair down to my butt, up until a couple of months ago. I let my hairdresser talk me into cutting some off.
It is now half way down my back (which they tell me is still long), but I hate it. I miss my long hair, and I'm cold all of the time now.
For men, I like their hair a little long. Some men just don't look good with long hair. But if you do, go for it!

I'm bald as a bowling ball on top. But the sides and back make it down easily to the middle of my back.
I work every day (when I work) in a "professional environment". So as you can probably guess; I wear my hair this way to make a political statement.
FWIW - every few years I get the proverbial wild hair and cut it all off - 100% high and tight. But that seems to do something to my mental state. Seriously. I find myself acting as would be appropriate with the high and tight (from my past life(s)).
That scares the people that know me.
Oh, yea, know what you mean. I used to wear my hair long - down to midway of my shoulder blades. Beard down to my chest and mustache over the lips.
And - 2 people I would not want to meet in a backwoods bar if I did grow it back for fear that the beast might return ...... ctfuzzy and sinjin!!!
I shave what's left of it. Use an electric razor ever day or so. Can't say I miss having hair on my head one bit, besides my wife likes the "Stone-Cold" look.

? Blue Ears ? She's kinda kinky ?
Isn't the stone cold look . . . uncomfortable, this time of year?
I am bald on top, as I said earlier, but Ii think I'd grab a dang neighborhood cat and glue him up there, before I'd wander out ~completely~ bare domed this time of year!
I usually have a family member buzz my hair to about 3/8" on the top of my head and very short on the sides. This works well because I hate combing my hair and I also save money. What I don't like is that it is cold in the winter.
had long hair back in the early 70's,back when it wasn't so popular with the older generation. they wern't so understanding. man ,they got on my case. now that generation is fading making it more acceptable. i have short hair now but i dont have any problems with long hair. been there ,done that.i believe to each his own
I have hair down to my butt, it used to be longer. Everyone says I should let it grow down to my ankles. I get comments all the time telling me how beautiful my hair is and how long it is. I keep on going back and forth with the idea of cutting it higher then the middle of my back, I don't think I could live with myself if I cut it short.
