Replace the A4LD with an AOD?

So, is there any way to replace the A4LD with an AOD trans? I am getting more and more of a distaste for the Aerostar over the A4LD.

Can an AOD fit? And what does it take to make a trans adapter to make it fit?

How close/far off are the torque converters?

How long is the AOD? How long is the A4LD?

How many splines on a AOD?

Sounds like either no one has raised the question on the internet or it is so absurd it can't work. I am ready to see if my THM200 4R will fit!!!

I don't know what all would be involved in doing this, but it would be interesting if you could do it.
If you try it, make sure you take pictures of the install/modification
