i recently bought a crunch 1000d amp. it puts out 500 rms and 1000 peak at 4 ohms and 750 watts rms at 2 ohms. i am running it at 2 ohms and was wondering what the peak at 2 ohms is. i'm not sure how to find that out. any help would be appreciated.

I guess to really know you'd need a frequency generator to drive the amp with a sine wave, prolly at 1khz, and a 2 ohm load for the amp to drive, then measure the current and voltage the amp puts out, and multiply AMPS x VOLTS= wattage
you'd prolly need an osciliscope to compare the input waveform to the output waveform, so you'd know how much distortion is present at what you're calling the "MAX" wattage
If it was me, I'd prolly just tell poeple its 1.47682634578 kilowatts or something.
if i was doing this i would generate a sine wave at what hzs you us he amp. i don't think your using the amp a 1k. your maybe using it at 30hz to 80hz. you want peak to what you use it for.
