I've got a 1998 powerstroke F-250 4door, 4WD with 47K on it. I love the truck. I bought it used about 10 months ago and had some trouble initially with the interior lights not wanting to go out. Recently the interior lights started coming on by themselves, the heater motor powered up and I heard a buzzing noise coming from, as it turns out, the #1 relay in the fuse panel under the dash. It had killed the battery and I pulled the relay. I have no interior lights or running board lights with the relay out but everyhting else works fine. I replaced the relay but had the same problem.
Yetsreday while driving along the highway (still with the relay out) The overdrive light started flashing on the shift lever and the cruise control quit working. This issue seems to have repaired itself but I obviously have a serious issue somewhere. Any ideas? (I'll get it in to the shop as soon as I can but it may be a few weeks)
Thanks for anything anyone might have for suggestions.
