I may be wrong, but if you have torsion bars on the front, they can be adjusted lower by just using s 1/2 " wrench. You will have to readjust the camber afterwards. Also there was something from Ford about stability problems if the front was too low compared to the rear. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about the torsion front. I don't know when they switched to it from coils.
I think you are right.
I spoke to a car mechanic here a few weeks ago who is an owner of an Explorer. He did lower the front end, but suffered wrong steering geometry. And yes, he mentioned to adjust the chamber angle.
-This is maybe the simplest option, but the ground clearance will be reduced.

However, I have already planned to fit Monroe Reflex shocks, and I wonder if I choose the rear dampers for level control to adjust the level on this one, if a neccesary device for manual adjustment is fitted? Then I will maintain the ground clearance.
**Anybody familiar with this?
