Folks,
I am kinda confused here...OK, I am second generation owner of my '90 150, 4x4, w/302...the rear sits 4" higher than the front, now it appears as though the original owner put a helper spring in the rear with what looks to be about a 2" block...I am assuming the front end is stock, so here-in lays the question...to level the front vs. the back, what size leveler spring should I be looking nto? From what I understand, the advertised height on aftermarket springs is that over stock...correct? So getting, say, a 1-2" leveling spring really isn't going to level it out...or am I just not seeing the forest for the trees...
Well the rear end has 2" blocks stock. It's suppose to be a 2" difference from front to rear. So it seems like your rear end has been raised about 2". What do you want the stance to be like, level? 2" difference?
Mustang - Well, i would like a little more level stance, I understand I won't get it exact without putting an entire lift kit under her...I am happy with the lift in the back, it's enough for my old butt, just wanna get rid of the sissy sag in the front. I am a bit hesitant to go with a 4" spring up front as I am afraid that will be "to much"...I think a 2" leveler from Rancho or SkyJacker would be about right...a slight rake, but still "up there" as it were. Thoughts?
