2100 Choke Adjustment..help

I have a 70 F-100... 302, 2bbl (2100 w/electric choke kit)

Runs fine in warm weather but now that it's cold it skips and lugs everywhere I go...I suspect choke needs adjusting... i verified 12v to electric choke

Can someone help me with the various adjustments... fast idle, lean vs rich, choke pull-off... Is there a checklist of procedures to accomplish this adjustment..???

Thanks in advance

you can loosen the choke housing and you ca richen it a bit. There are arrows for lean or rich. Rich will keep the top throttle plate closed more during startup and should keep more rpm. lean will open the plate more and quicker during startup and warmup. you can play with fast idle by turning the screw in and it will hold the rpm until the gas pedal is pressed then the idle and rpm will drop.
