i have an 88 f250 and i believe stock injectors are 19 lbs. an hr. i put on an edelbrock performer manifold and bbk tb. will it be ok if i put in 21 lbs. an hr fuel injectors?
Only if you have the computer reprogamed. The pulse with will be for 19lb injectors and the larger ones firing for the same length will make it run rich.
I haven't seen 21lb injectors. I am assuming that you are refering to 24lb injectors.

no they are 21 lb. injectors just got em from jegs. they told me the 21 lb injectors are stock. that's why i got them. does anybody know which is correct. also can i reprogram the stock computer? or have someone do it? how much is it thanks
i just called jegs........... guy says he has no idea where anybody there got the info on what rate the injectors should be. like there is no list there to reference. so why would they tell me i should get 21 lb type. i called edelbrock last night and they said 19 lb is stock. i think edelbrock knows what they are talking about. ......... dang ...... shiiite...now i got to send em back and wait for new ones.......
Yep, they are 19lb. 24lb came in The Cobra Mustangs, but they had better heads, larger camshaft, larger MAF meter and a recalibrated computer. I believe that the TurboCoupe and SuperCoupe T-Birds also had 24lb injectors.
