Fuel injectors - 4.0L
What is the stock flow rating for fuel injectors for a 4.0L V6 in a '92 Exploder? I'm kinda thinking it was 19lbs/hr, but it'd suck to screw this up, so I'm asking.
I'll let everyone know how they work. Should be here tomorrow.
Here's a link to the Accel information.

They're on backorder. I hate backorders. Should be a week. I ordered overnight shipping for a reason. You'd think they could keep 'em in stock. Morons...

But yeah, you'll get your review!
Installation is fairly straightforward.
1. Remove everything from upper intake, keep it all in order, remove nuts that hold down upper intake from their studs, pull upper intake.
2. Remove wires from existing injectors.
3. Remove studs with special torx socket (had to go buy one).
4. Remove fuel injector plate, it just pulls up.
5. Get a (clean!) screwdriver and remove old O-rings that were left in the fuel injector plate by the old fuel injectors. Stick them back on old fuel injectors.
6. Pull out old fuel injectors. They can be stubborn. Put some back muscles into it.
7. Prep new fuel injectors by coating the rubber O-rings with a light coat of grease, like wheel bearing grease. It helps 'em go in easier. KEEP THEM CLEAN!!!
8. Push new fuel injectors into the lower intake. It helps to rock them back and forth a little. Be careful to not knock any loose dirt down into the intake. It's impossible to keep it all out, but keep the amount to an absolute minimum.
9. Connect the new injectors to the wiring harness.
10. Go get a friend to help position the fuel injector plate, while you try to position 6 fuel injectors, and a gasket, all at the same time. Be sure to use a new gasket between the injector plate and the upper AND lower intake. It takes two, one on each side.
11. The injector plate should be almost touching the gasket when the injectors are installed right. You can thread in two of the studs to help position the plate and keep one end from coming up. Reach under and feel to make sure the injectors are all in their places before tightening down the studs. Tighten down the studs with the torx socket.
12. Place new gasket on top of the injector plate, and place upper intake on. Torque down the nuts that hold it on.
13. Reconnect all the stuff to the upper intake, throttle body, vacuum hoses, everything.
14. Go run it, check for fuel leaks.
Notes: When I say remove, I mean remove enough stuff from the assembly that you can swing it out of the way. The injector plate is a good example. You dont need to disconnect fuel lines, just swing it out of the way to get to the fuel injectors. Also, on the studs that hold the injector plate and upper intake down, it helps to use some moly grease on the threads so you get an accurate torque reading.
Results: I've only driven it about 20 miles, but I have noticed some results. It runs smoother and starts quicker. Whereas before it took about 5 seconds of cranking to start it, now it takes less than 1 second. Turn the key and it's going. I havent driven it far enough to determine gas mileage, so that remains to be seen. I'll post again later with some results.
Sorry for the book, but a review was requested!
