Hey Boss, some guys tried to get me on that one once. They wanted to coax me into going through a huge "puddle". So, I approached it first, threw a big rock in it, stuck a stick in it, then said no, you first. I knew darn well, it was deeper than it looked. The guy drove all the way through it, and got stuck coming out. His blazer filled with water, lol. His buddy pulled his winch off, and I offered to help the other truck pull it out.
yeah ive seen that done before, my dad had a 74 f250 4x4 35 in swamper tires on it, and we were down by the river hunting after a rain last year with some buddies we were going a long a trail, and the trail was fludded so we stop and inspected it the guys behind us said oh it dont look that deep well it didnt, but looks are deceiving sometimes, so anyway we proceeded through the water, well we made it half way through till the water was coming in the cab and got stuck, either one of the other 4x4's could pull us out so we had to go back and get a tractor with duals to get it out, what i nightmare.
my problem was about 2 weeks before i got stuck we took my buddys jeep in that whole and he made it out. i guess people had gone though it and made it deeper. and i didnt hit the whole hard enoght
