This is off topic but I was wondering if you have any personal experience with Collins Diesel in your home town? I'd appreciate any thought you might have to share. You can shoot me a PM if you don't want to post your thoughts.
I have researched….and have not found the answer I need. The temperature of air, coming out of the compressor before the intercooler?
Also the delta between inlet and outlet of the intercooler?
Any help out there?
Thought I would be wise to repost my orginal question, just trying to keep this thing going in the direction of some data.

No dealing's with Collins. Just bell turbo(pias) and ragettie enterprise (ray Jr+ Sr) Cummings
To many variables, Different air temps at different boost pressures for the air temp out of the turbo. then the out side air temp through the air to air radiator for the air intake into the engine.

Could not agree with you more., to many variables
However, the original design was at nominal numbers and if you please “laboratory environment” (some call it different) and that is very acceptable numbers. As with all design they must start somewhere. Those are the numbers I need, shall we say the “perfect environment” data, or design criteria.
If I were as interested as you are in finding the temps. I would call, (Garett) are they still suplying turbos for internatioal? they would have desinged the turbo and would have to know everything about the charger-aftercooler-engine, if in three pages a enginer has not responded I think it's safe to say ones not going to. I know on the old body fords with the 7.3 that banks said there intercooler (realy aftercooler) gave a 14hp increase, it was only slighty biger with better bends etc. so I can see where you are comming from. I also see where a bigger better aftercooler would make since, I had a friend with a '01 stroker with a 110hp super chip and at WOT on a cool-crisp night it would blow the aftercooler hoses evertime, ended up going to a 90hp setting and double clamping the hoses. I think the importent thing is to keep the after cooler un-blocked and as much air as possible going to it, might want to move to a colder climate as well to utilize the good air j\k So get on that phone to garett and get some ansers, be sure to post what you find for the rest of us!!!
