Water pump clicking

Water pump clicking
My water pump, I thinks it's a surflow, started making a rapid clicking noise when the water is off. Click click, pause click click pause.... It doesn't sound like it would if there was a leak in the water lines and loose pressure which is why I'm confused. The motor doesn't seem to be running while this is happening. When I turn the sink on it works just fine. Any Ideas? I have a video of it but dunno how to post it. Thanks.
