water pumps either work or they fail and start leaking, almost never quit pumping.
which lines are not getting hot? if it is the heater hoses you probably have a clogged heater core.
Is the cooling system full? Have you felt the lines to and from the heater core to see if they're hot? If the lines are hot, but the air discharge is cool, that usually points to a bad blend door actuator.

i got that resolved, had 2 thermostats from Napa fail , tested them both in a pot of boiling water would not open till 205 , went and grabbed a motor craft thermostat works perfect
