2006 Super Duty wiring harness 5C3Z-12B637 after market. My truck has #6 copper wire coming from the battery on passenger side to the plugs of glow plug module. The new harness has # 12 wire coming from back of alternator to the plug for the module. I contacted China they sent me a refund. I contacted Ford waited a week they replied contact my local dealer. ( way to stand behind thier product). I have looked at the manual it shows the harness just as china makes it. Has anyone ran into this issue or have I bought the only one built like this. I had to open up the harness to trace the wires it was wrapped like factory would use. I do not have a local dealer even if I did that is the last place I would take a 20 year old truck.
You email a company as large as Ford and want to complain when they respond telling you to contact a dealer
Parts come from the Parts department at the dealer.
If the harness is even still available...there are some good online Ford Parts/ dealers that have discounted prices(i'd have to think of some as they have changed names). Riffraff diesel might be able to get them if available, and possibly CNC fab. You must provide whomever with your VIN to get the proper harness

I called Ford and even had a case number given to me. After 10 years Ford no longer shows the parts available . They are found after market using the part # Ford gave me . The harness is not right . Ford suggested I try a wrecking yard the harness was crap wire to start with buying something from a wrecking yard is crazy.
This just gets worse I send my vin they tell me my truck uses the same harness I bought. It is not right maybe I am crazy but follow the cables from the battery on the passenger side and see where they go on a 2006 F 250 super duty 6.0
I don't have a 2006 F250 6.0 I can get to right now, but is it possible the original harness design was superseded by the one they sent you? Do you have any pics of the differences?
