Made the upgrade, thanks to employee pricing, and took delivery of a '26 XLT Crew cab, 7.3L in Ruby Red on Friday 5/8. Was delivered from a distant dealer with 300 miles, now have nearly 1k, thanks to long weekend trip for mother's day. Have to say that, I'm liking the changes on the 10 spd shift logic vs my '22 F-150 5.0 So far, it's smooth and shifts are clean, with a little throttle blip programmed in apparently. 7.3L is stout and smooth and returned 17+mpg on the trip. Will probably be a tune in the coming year, and some Forscan improvements made, but I'm definitely loving it!
Thanks all ! As far as the mileage goes, to be fair, it was empty, except for the wife and myself, and driving through Atlanta, top speed for the trip was about 76mph. I don't drive it hard, I drive "normal" , and my '22 5.0 recently returned 24.3 MPG on a long 700 mile trip. I don't need a 250, I just enjoy driving one. Had an '18 6.2L, and I missed it. Now, I'm about to start a second thread on checking your fluid levels on new Superduty's...stay tuned.
