hey guys, more trouble, here goes...i just swaped a new 360 in my 73 high boy and everything went great the motor runs wonderfully but the transmission seems to be stuck between gears or in a gear. I think it is the np 235? ( 4spd w/granny). This happened when i re-installed the top cover after the swap. Any ideas for realigning the gears, or fixing this stick? Thanks in advance.

You may have 2 gears engaged. Pull the cover off and manually slide all the selectors into neutral. You shifter/linkage is probably worn or out af adjustment. It is certainly possible that something is broken too, but you need to pull the cover regardless.
