So, I have a 24 Reg Cab F350. Just did a jump seat to console swap. Got the front USB-C and USB-A ports working. The wiring for the USB-A is really strained though.
Anyone else encounter this problem? Anyone have a fix? Maybe a cable extension? From out of dash... USB-A, USB-C module in console
I feel your pain unfortunately. Just went through a console swap like you on my R/C 2026 F350/STX. I pasted a link below to a thread I started a couple of weeks back looking for similar help. Post #8 may provide you with some insight. I listed the part number for one of the extensions I used. Could not find the other one. Read through the rest of that tread. Yes, my explanations/questions are somewhat confusing, but if you read it a couple of times some of it will make sense. Oh...have some JD handy, it helps....well it did for me....lol.
PS...any questions I will try my best. As I stated in the thread, electrical stuff is not my forte.
Just sent a friend request. Is that how you do it? If you have both male and female connectors, I need a 6" run. That should be plenty. How much? How do we set this transaction up?
