Steering Column seal
I was going through my parts looking for items I need to media blast and clean up and run across this steering column seal.
I noticed that the lip was turned in which I thought was odd. Did Ford do this on purpose to improve the seal?

My Ididit column is 2" od not the 2 1/4 as the original one. So turning this in would make a tighter seal.

My '68 F250 doesn't look that way. On mine the rubber seal is under the steel flange - might be with yours also. the seal extends as far as the flange and is secured with a hose type clamp.
