Where is the EVAP purge valve on a 2001, 5.4L 2 valve..... engine diagram if someone can post an image. Passenger side I'm assuming the thing that sounds like a mad Bee !

I think this system has been deleted on this, as the hose to cannister on driver side is missing or fell off ?

 

It's been awhile since I had a 5.4 but I think they are all pretty similar. I had a van with a 5.4 and the purge vale was located on the firewall near the brake system.

I googled it and there are a ton of photos of it in that location. But a few photos showed it located under/near the throttle body intake. The parts look identical but in different locations.

Two vacuum hoses and an electrical connector.

Hope this helps. Or maybe someone with some fresher info can chime in.

 

Look for the little green cap.
