I’m in Portugal currently and today we topped off the tank in our rental car for $8.92 per gallon for the cheapest straight gas with a RON of 95 (pretty much equal to our 87 octane at home). So yes, while our US gas and diesel is very high right now in other parts of the world it is much higher.
Also, just so everyone knows, I do get a discount using my company issued fuel card, gave me a $80 discount, but still hurt a lot.
Makes it really hard to make a decent profit.
And, glad for my most recent tune giving me about 4 more MPG's empty, and about 1.5 MPG's more when towing.

Yeah Europe is feeling the impact of both "special military operations" more than we are. The carbon tax and VAT taxes they layer on don't help but Europe is a different animal than the USA. At least WTI is trending in the low 90s now.... of course it was in the freaking 60s at the end of February....
