TSB 19-2365 Oil Consumption TSB for 2018-2020 5.0 says to install dipstick part number JL3Z-6750-E I had JL3E-6750-CB originally (stamped on the stick) and was told by Ford Techs that is the correct dip stick that it is an engineering number vs Ford Part number.
So,, how does one (including a Ford tech) really know the corrected dip stick is installed ? Additionally, how do you prove the installed PCM firmware version is TSB 19-2365 or later ?

I believe the new one is slightly longer than the original and the holes are spaced wider apart. This thread compares them: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/pictu...2365-a-497225/
Regarding the PCM firmware, that might be something you can see with Forscan, but I'm not sure? Presumably a dealer could check and tell you for sure.
