This one is supposed to fit and looks right, I haven't ordered it yet. The Step tailgate has the two beer holders on the passenger/right where the non-step has one rectangular depression and a beer holder over there.
i am looking forward to seeing some wear and tear on my bare painted tailgate, remind of the good ole days, why protect it? has anyone ever needed a new one because they didn't in the past 30 years? box liner same thing, added money and added weight, for no valid reason, rubber bed mat only, and at least it has a daily function of holding **** somewhat in place and a bit easier on knees when horsing around in there, i want to see something that says truck on the bed sides and tailgate after years of adventures...just saying, think it through, no mud collectors underneath, although i do like fender liners as i do see a lot of mud, but skids etc. just getting in the way of service guys and collecting mud, less is more, let it be a truck, so much of this is overthought
Arrived a day early. About 30 min to install, part of that was cleaning the tailgate.
The factory screws and 3 long pieces of double side tape hold the protector on. The tape was preinstalled on the backside. I drilled through the center of the indents and everything lined up perfect, no fidgeting around trying to make it line up.
The quality, fit and finish are top quality. Looks OEM
Even at the outrageous price of $100, I give it two thumbs up.

Looks good, I'll have to get around to ordering that on the next round of goodies.
