Tailgate step

2025 f 150. Came with out the slide out tailgate step. My question: can I purchase a step and trim piece and will it work on my existing tailgate?

"IF" I remember right to get the tailgate step that pulls out, you have to buy a whole tailgate, as yours can not be changed to adapt. BUT, I'm old and my memory isn't quite what it used to be!!!!

You need a whole new tailgate to get the step. The structure of the tailgate is different.
