I have a 2022 F150 XLT with 56,000 miles and tow a 30' camper 2-3 a month, 6 months out of the year. I've read that Ford recommends a trans fluid flush and fill with a filter change at 130,000 miles if you tow and never if you don't. I've also read that at 130,000 miles, if there is damage done, at this point it's too late, and tonhaventhis done between 50k - 60k. I'd rather be proactive, to do the fluid flush and fill with filter change, between 50k and 60k.

So, I called my dealership today to schedule the work, and they just about refused to do it, stating Ford doesn't recommend it till 130K for someone like me, and added that it is a sealed system with a synthetic fluid. The service manger then quoted me a price of about $150 more, than what I was quoted by a service rep. less than 2 weeks ago, and who was ready to schedule it

What is the general feeling about this? Wait till 130k, or be more proactive and get it done now?
