64 F6OO fiasco

Got a good deal on this from my friend, gave me 4 tires for the rear. didn't tell me 5 of the 6 studs on driver rear were left hand!
He probably didn't now either. More later...

That's a shame: they're ALL supposed to be LH on the left side, not just five of them.

Learned something new! The fronts are all RH and the 1 RH rear came off ok, presumed they were all RH! Now I have to find some LH nuts and a stud, any sources for these?

That driver's side front wheel is a widowmaker; you likely won't find a tire shop that will service that wheel (ie mount a tire onto it).

I think you're going to have to know which seat your wheels have for your lug nuts: cone, ball, or hub pilot.

From https://www.alcoawheels.com/north-am...nting-systems/ :

The lug nut's seat profile has to match the wheel's, and you can't interchange one to the other.

Some possible Ford part numbers for LH lug nuts are BB-1121 (ball?) and B7TZ-1121-A (cone?)

Since you already have a mis-match of parts, you'll want to inspect the wheel carefully before tracking down nuts for it. But before acquiring nut(s), consider replacing any wheel that isn't either one-piece, or have a visible lock ring.

For a lug stud, possible Ford part numbers are D0TZ-1108-A (replaced by D0TZ-1108-C), TCAA-1108-A, 51-1108, and D1TZ-1108-A. I don't know enough about your truck's original configuration to guess at which of those might be right, and if both front hubs now sport RH lugs, using the original part numbers would be an easy way to get wrong parts. I'd take a sample stud to a tire shop or NAPA-like place and try to visually match the stud.

Thank you for your help!! IDK, front rims have the center riveted to the rim, so don't believe widow makers? Cannot see a visible split.
Here is a picture of lug nuts, appear lug centric, looks like radius or spherical to me, fronts are the small ones obviously.

One good overall vid, worth the time, but here's a link right to the chart of varieties:

Usually, when people say "widowmaker" they're referring to the Firestone RH5° but there are other varieties that have poor positive locking that fall into this category.

Yours resembles the "Great Dane". The "safe" non-one-piece wheel has a single exterior lock ring, and is a two-piece wheel; the RH5° is a three-piece.

These are somewhat dangerous to assemble as well, but don't fly apart once brought up to pressure, unlike the RH5° etc.

Another YT vid, a long wandering one, but watch just this part, a minute in and it comes apart:

I think your front example nut looks ball too, but it's the wheel you should inspect. Someone could have put ball nuts on cone wheels.

F60 = F600 Gas 4x2
B = Gas 262 1V
K = Kansas City plant
515401 = Mar1964

F602 = F600 Gas 4x2, 20,000 GVW

181:

OR
Light gray crush vinyl and light gray rib vinyl

81= Conventional Cab

F = ??? Is this under "Trans"? or "Axle"? If Trans then Warner T98A
F8 = ???
A picture of the warranty plate would be more helpful, as spacing and positioning of those trans and axle codes is important.

1964 is one of the trickier years to decode via MPC.

Here is a pic of an inside rear wheel, appear to be one piece, going to get the wire wheel out to clean up a bit then dismount old tires. I had recaps on it as late as 2013
Been told they are Budd wheels, did get a Budd wheel socket to dismount inners.
