Help with power steering rack motor. Fusion

My neighbor has a 2014 Ford Fusion 1.5. He just pulled it out of the garage and all kinds of lights on the dash and no steering. So he calls me over. \

I do a once over and find what I call the steering motor to have the bolts broken and is loose. I can't get a good picture. I can't even get it out of his drive. Pretty much stuck where it is. Thinking if I can get at least one bolt in, I can get it across the street to my house.

My question. Is there any clocking on this motor?? (Has to be aligned so the steering is aligned?) Or programmed? Or is it like a regular motor that drop it in and it will set itself. If you follow.

Ok, from doing some research, The motor runs a belt to a gear. So no timing issues. On the other hand I am trying to some some information on how to replace the belt. It seems to be a major failure point on the racks. While I am there may be best to replace the belt. Trying to find some info on how to replace the belt.

I have found several belts available. All kinds of brands for $50 and up... But some Moca brand that is about $20... Not clear on if Moca is a good quality belt.

For anyone following... The belt is a big failure point on the electric racks. When it goes you lose steering. Great.... I can probably just replace the motor if the belt looks ok. Replacing the belt is a big plus, but it involves taking the rack apart. What I have found is best to remove the rack from the vehicle and then disassemble it. Fun.

BTW The search bots are active. I am doing a search for this issue and it sends me to this thread I just started.

I guess these Electric power steering racks are common on a lot of vehicles. Mustangs and F150s have them now.

I skipped the belt and drilled the broken bolts and reinstalled. I am getting a lot of binding and maybe because of the motor needed to be aligned to the steering. Autel does not show a command to do a programming. Not sure is Forscan has something?

Not sure if the belt may be slipping too. I don't seem to see an adjustment.
