I have a 2006 that the steering wheel is getting a bit of a wobble to it and it pulls out about 1/8". Prior to 04, there is a repair kit from Ford. From 04 to 08 everything reads unservicable. Also, I don't see much out there that it's been a problem at all for other owners of this model. I found a used steering column gor 160 and bought it. Any similar experience? 260k miles..

 

Agreed I've never heard of this on these trucks but please post up if you tear into it. Might help the next guy! I personally love seeing solid tech on these kinds of fixes
